BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky University’s football game at Ohio Valley Conference rival Jacksonville State will air live on ESPN3, the league announced today from its Brentwood, Tennessee headquarters. Both teams are currently ranked among the top-15 teams in the nation.
The match-up is scheduled for Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. ET. ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of exclusive sports events annually. It is accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
The 14th ranked Colonels (3-2, 2-0 OVC) and No. 1 ranked Gamecocks (4-1, 2-0 OVC) are both just two games into an eight-game OVC schedule, but both are unbeaten in conference play.
Both teams have only lost to Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) teams this season and both lost in overtime to a pair of Southeastern Conference squads. EKU fell 34-27 at Kentucky. JSU dropped a 27-20 decision at Auburn.
Eastern has out-scored its three Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) opponents by a combined score of 151-40. In its most recent game, EKU rolled up 489 yards and scored 41 points – in the first half – against Tennessee Tech.

The Colonels will make their first conference road trip of the season when they play at Southeast Missouri on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.
