PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Basketball season is just three weeks away, but you can go ahead and reserve your seats for University of Pikeville men’s and women’s basketball with season tickets now at the East Kentucky Expo Center.
Tickets may be purchased at the box office, located in downtown Pikeville at 126 Main Street, or you can call (606) 444-5507.
A reserved seat for a combined 30 games can be purchased for $80, which is a $40 dollar savings off the face value. Men’s and Women’s doubleheaders will be accessed via a single ticket in the season-ticket package.
Single-game tickets at the box office will be $6. All seats at UPIKE games this season are reserved with no general admission area.
Both UPIKE programs are expected to start the season ranked in the NAIA Top 25. Last season was the second time in school history that the men and women both received bids to the NAIA National Championships. The first occurrence was in the 2003 postseason.
Head coach Kelly Wells’ men’s team is coming off a 28-6 record in 2014-15 and has won 40 straight games in the East Ky. Expo Center dating back to Jan. 19, 2013. Joanna McNamee led the women to a 23-9 record last season and was ranked No. 23 nationally heading into the national tournament.
