Coach John DeRossett is entering his 20th season as the head coach of the Prestonsburg Blackcats and has been very successful securing an overall record of 151 wins & 81 losses.
Prestonsburg fans had to be reeling as their 2014 Road to Bowling Green was shut down following a grueling 20-14 OT defeat to the Shelby Valley Wildcats in the regional championship game.
In order to get back there, Prestonsburg will have to do so without 11 seniors who depart, key departures include QB Jarredd Jarrell, WR/DB Evan Jarrell & WR/DB Jackson Reed.
Key players returning include: RB #40 Dalton Frasure, K #18 Tate Green & WR/DB #5 Seth Marcum.
Prestonsburg will kick-off their 2015 season hosting the Pikeville Panthers on Friday, August 21st 2015.
