Unsurprisingly, the University of Kentucky has yet again attained the #1 recruiting class. So far, the Cats have signed five players ranging from the 4th best high school player to the 29th ranked player.
Power forwards Bam Adebayo and Wenyen Gabriel, point guard De’Aaron Fox, shooting guard Malik Monk, and center Sacha Killeya-Jones are the future Cats who have already inked an agreement with UK to be “next” in an exclusive club of elite high school athletes to join Kentucky. Of those five players, four of them are averaging a double-double thus far in the 2015 season and each of the young players have made quite a name for themselves, garnering national recognition for their elite level of
play.
Social media has been exploding with news about the high school hoopers and as usual, Kentucky fans have been tracking their every move and showering them with Big Blue Nation love. In an era where college basketball, and Kentucky specifically, has become a quick pit stop on the way to the ultimate goal, the NBA, head coach John Calipari is more than likely thrilled about his most current batch of young stars.
