Tomorrow, the Eastern Kentucky Colonels will attempt to capture their fourth straight win over against fellow Kentucky school Thomas More University. The game will take place in Richmond, KY in McBrayer Arena at 2:00 p.m.
EKU comes into this game undefeated on their home-court after dominating the EKU Hoops Classic last weekend. Eastern is currently the highest scoring team in the state (17th in the country), averaging 91.4 points per game, enough to top the in-state powerhouse Kentucky Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals squads. The high-octane scoring ability is led by EKU’s veteran forward and National Mid-Major Player of the Week Javontae Hawkins and OVC Player of the Week, Jarelle Reischel. The Colonels also rank 6th in the country in 3-pt field goal percentage, with 45.2%.
This is the first all-time meeting between Eastern Kentucky and Thomas More. EKU enters the game with a 4-1 record, while Thomas More looks to improve on a 1-1 record.
