MOREHEAD, Ky. — The Morehead State men’s basketball team has landed 2015-16 appearances on the CBS Sports Network and the American Sports Network. The Eagles will have two more nationally-televised contests if they advance to the championship game of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.
In conference play, Morehead State will play two games on the CBS Sports Network and one on the American Sports Network. The Eagles’ OVC opener at Murray State on Saturday, Jan. 2 and their home game against Eastern Kentucky on Thursday, Feb. 11 will both air on CBS Sports Network. The American Sports Network will broadcast the contest on Saturday, Jan. 23 when Jacksonville State comes to Johnson Arena.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to play multiple contests on television,” said head coach Sean Woods. “Each TV game will be terrific exposure for our program, athletic department and university. They are great for our families, friends, recruits, alumni and fans.”
The OVC Tournament will continue at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn. The men’s semifinals, on March 4 at either 6:30 or 8:30 p.m. ET, will be televised live by ESPNU. The men’s championship, which takes place the following day at 5 p.m., will be carried live by ESPN2.
