2017 Lafayette quarterback Walker Wood announced via twitter that he has committed to play his college football at the University of Kentucky.

So far this season, Wood is 83-142 passing with 1233 yards and 12 touchdowns. Wood has also carried the ball 90 times for 877 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
Wood is a three-star recruit and the 14th ranked dual-threat quarterback according to rivals.com.
