Paintsville defeated Pikeville in overtime Friday night 23-22. Pikeville had possession first in overtime and scored on three plays. Daric Pugh scored on a two yard touchdown run and Pikeville converted the PAT to take a 22-15 lead over the Tigers.
Paintsville scored on their second play from scrimmage when Kentucky commit Kash Daniel scored from five yards out. Paintsville went for the two point conversion and Daniel wasn’t going to be denied as he battled his way to the endzone to give the Tigers a 23-22 win over rival Pikeville.
