Eric Ratliff is entering his 2nd season as head coach of the Shelby Valley Wildcats, last season he led the Wildcats perhaps to their greatest season in school history and was just one win away from reaching the state championship game in Bowling Green. Overall record 11-3.
Shelby Valley only losses 7 seniors from last year’s team. Key departures include: TE/DL Andrew Newsome, WR/DB Nick Wallace & WR/LB Quinton Williams.
Key players returning include: FB/LB #20 Chandler Rowe, WR/DB #4 Kasey Tackett & OL/LB #52 Trevor Wright.
Shelby Valley will make the long trip to Franklin County to battle the Eagles to kick-off their 2015 campaign. Saturday, August 22nd 2015.
