Weather Forces Cancelation of UK’s Wednesday Midweek Tilt vs. Wright State
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Due to a barrage of heavy rains, Kentucky baseball’s Wednesday matchup with Wright State has been cancelled, it was announced.
Kentucky (9-3) will now return to action on Friday vs. Massachusetts, with first pitch of the four-game weekend slated for 4 p.m. at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
The Wildcats swept their home-opening, doubleheader with Murray State on Tuesday, posting a 4-1 win in the opener and a 4-3 win in the nightcap. UK has won seven consecutive games entering its final non-conference weekend test before Southeastern Conference play.
