RICHMOND, Ky. – With nearly 12 inches of snow blanketing Turkey Hughes Field, the Eastern Kentucky University baseball team will move its scheduled home series against Southern Illinois University to Emerson, Georgia.
EKU and SIU will play four games at the LakePoint Sports complex. The series will open with game one at 5 p.m. on Friday. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon. The series concludes with a single game on Sunday at noon.
The Colonels are off to an 0-2 start to the 2015 season while the Salukis stand 0-3 after the first week.
