Team Records, Game Notables and Series Information

– WKU won its ninth-straight game with its triumph over UTSA to improve to 14-5 on the season and stay perfect at 7-0 in Conference USA action. The Roadrunners dropped to 9-9 and 3-4 in C-USA play.

– WKU’s nine-game winning streak is its longest since winning 11-straight from Jan. 10-Feb. 16, 2008.

– The Hilltoppers 7-0 start in league play is its best conference start since starting and finishing the 1969-70 season 14-0 in Ohio Valley Conference play.

– WKU hits the road for two Conference USA games next week, traveling to LA Tech Thursday night and Southern Miss Saturday evening. WKU returns home on Thursday, Feb. 5 to play North Texas.

Team Notes

– WKU used the starting lineup of Chris Harrison-Docks, Trency Jackson, T.J. Price, George Fant and Aleksej Rostov for the 12th-straight game and 14th time this season. The group is 12-2 on the year.

– KEY FIRST HALF RUN: WKU went on a 9-1 run over 1:11 to take a 40-31 lead at the under-4:00 media timeout. During the stretch, Ben Lawson had a tip-in, George Fant had a three-point play on a dunk and then hit a jumper before Trency Jackson had a fast-break layup to give the Hilltoppers their largest lead of the game. The run extended to 14-1 after a Chris Harrison-Docks three-pointer and another Jackson fast-break layup to make the score 45-31 in favor of the Hilltoppers.

– KEY SECOND HALF RUN: After UTSA trimmed its halftime deficit from 11 points to three with 10 minutes left in the game, WKU used a 7-0 spurt to take control at 68-61 over a span of 2:35. The Roadrunners never got closer than three points after the run.

– Ten of the 11 Hilltoppers who saw action connected on at least one field goal, marking the third time this season WKU has had 10 different players hit a field goal. The 10 different players hitting a field goal marked the first time the Hilltoppers accomplished the feat against a Division I opponent this season.

– The quartet of George Fant, T.J. Price, Trency Jackson and Chris Harrison-Docks all hit double- figure scoring for the second-straight game and for the sixth time this season. Overall, WKU has had seven games where four different players hit double figures.

– WKU connected on 12-of-24 three-pointers, which included eight first-half triples. The 12 three-pointers represented the second-highest output this season and the Hilltoppers’ best clip against a Division I team.

– The Hilltoppers had 16 assists compared to nine turnovers, giving WKU a positive assist-to-turnover ratio in 11 of its last 12 games

– WKU shot 50.0 percent for the first half (17-for-34), its best mark in the opening 20 minutes since conference play began seven games ago, and made six-straight shots to close the half.

– WKU committed just two first-half turnovers, its fifth half of three or fewer turnovers this season.

– WKU has made a three-pointer in 859-straight games dating back to March 15, 1987.

Individual Notes

– Redshirt sophomore guard Chris Harrison- Docks connected on a career-high six three-pointers and finished with a team-high 20 points.

– Five of Harrison-Docks six triples came in the first-half on 5-of-7 shooting. He finished the contest 6-of-9 from three-point land.

– Harrison-Docks has hit double-figure scoring in five of his last six games.

– Harrison-Docks’ 20-point outing marked the second 20-point game of his young career.

– Senior forward George Fant recorded his eighth-straight double-double with 17 points and 13 boards.

– Fant had 11 career double-doubles in his first 108 career games before his recent stretch of eight-straight.

– Fant has tallied 129 points (18.4 ppg) and 81 rebounds (11.5 rpg) in seven C-USA games.

– Senior guard T.J. Price scored 13 points in the second half after being limited to no points in the first half.

– Price has scored at least 10 points in 15-of-19 games this season (.789) and in 77-of-112 career games (.687).

– Sophomore forward Ben Lawson was key off the bench, blocking a career-high six shots while adding six points and four rebounds.

– The last time a Hilltopper had five blocks in a game was Teeng Akol when he swatted five against North Texas on Dec. 29, 2012.
