· WKU used the starting lineup of Chris Harrison-Docks, Trency Jackson, T.J. Price, George Fant and Ben Lawson for the third-straight game

· WKU forced six-straight missed shots by Saint Joseph’s before James Demery connected on a three-pointer over 5:00 into the game

· KEY FIRST HALF RUN: Trailing 8-5, WKU went on a 7-0 run over 1:03 to take a 12-8 lead at the under-12:00 media timeout of the first half. WKU would not trail again in the first half

· The Hilltoppers hit 5-straight shots after that key first half run but had four turnovers in the same span

· Near the end of the first half, WKU hit 7-of-9 shots and opened a 31-22 lead with 1:24 to go in the opening 20 minutes

· KEY SECOND HALF RUN: Saint Joseph’s took a 54-52 lead with 2:46 to play after a 9-2 run, but WKU responded with six-straight points to regain a 58-54 lead and carry it down the stretch

Individual Notes

· Senior George Fant had 17 points and a career-high 15 rebounds, 11 of which were on the offensive end, and three assists while going 5-for-6 from the free throw line

o Fant tied a season high in the first half alone with nine rebounds, and his three assists in the first half equaled a career high

o Prior to Thursday’s 17-point outing, Fant had 24 points in the season’s previous four games combined

· Redshirt-sophomore Chris Harrison-Docks had 12 points

o Harrison-Docks has now hit multiple three-pointers in 19 of his 29 games as a Hilltopper

· Sophomore Ben Lawson had a career-high eight points

o Lawson has now blocked at least one shot in four-straight games
