2014 FALL WEBCAST SCHEDULE (PDF)

MOREHEAD, Ky. — The Morehead State athletic department’s video operation, Eagle Vision, is scheduled to webcast 18 fall athletic events on the Ohio Valley Conference Digital Network (OVCDigitalNetwork.com). The video streaming platform is free and requires no registration.

Weather permitting, all five home football games will be available on the video streaming site. The Eagles are set to host in-state foe Pikeville (Sept. 6), Campbell (Oct. 4), Jacksonville (Oct. 11), Valparaiso (Oct. 25) and Stetson (Nov. 15) this season.

Weather permitting, five home soccer matches will be shown on the OVCDN. The schedule includes match-ups against Appalachian State (Sept. 5), Wyoming (Sept. 14), Tennessee Tech (Oct. 5), SIU Edwardsville (Oct. 17) and Eastern Illinois (Oct. 26).

The network will also feature eight volleyball matches. The slate includes dates with Northern Kentucky (Aug. 30), Radford (Aug. 30), Louisville (Sept. 12), Arizona State (Sept. 13), Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 1), Jacksonville State (Oct. 18), Belmont (Oct. 31) and Tennessee State (Nov. 1).

Morehead State volleyball and soccer have been picked to win the conference in 2014. Both programs won league tournament championships in 2013 and advanced to NCAA Tournament play. The teams have combined for 14 OVC regular-season and tournament titles the past 11 seasons.

All events will feature audio play-by-play, multiple cameras, replays and graphics. Links will be available via each sport’s MSUEagles.com schedule page or the site’s front page.

Football audio is provided by the Eagle Sports (Radio) Network, which features seven stations in Eastern Kentucky and covers a 100-mile radius from Morehead. Chuck Mraz will call the play-by-play, while Jason Blanton serves as the analyst and Michael Gustin is the sideline reporter.

Mraz, who serves as the news director for Morehead State’s 50,000-watt public radio station, is in his 26th year as “Voice of the Eagles.” He has won numerous broadcasting awards over the years.

Blanton, who serves as the university’s director of media relations, is a 2002 Morehead State graduate. He has been involved with Eagle Athletics in a variety of roles since his days as a student.

Gustin, a native of Springboro, Ohio, has called MSU baseball games for the OVC Digital Network and MSUEagles.com each of the past two seasons.

Angela McGuire, the wife of Morehead State Head Baseball Coach Mike McGuire, is in her third year calling volleyball play-by-play. McGuire played collegiately at Troy (Ala.) and Saint Francis (Ill.). She later served as head coach at Queens (N.C.), Lander (S.C.) and Converse (S.C.).

The soccer play-by-play announcer is still to be determined.

Morehead State enters its fourth year with a true athletics video operation. Eagle Vision is led by Zack Howard, who is the department’s first-ever full-time coordinator. Daniel Becker, who led the group the past two years as a graduate assistant, is now MSU’s director of volleyball operations.
