PIKEVILLE, Ky. – With exhibition games at Kentucky and Tennessee, the University of Pikeville men’s basketball team is excited to announce the addition of Western Kentucky to its slate of exhibition games for the 2014-15 season.
The Bears and Hilltoppers are scheduled to square off at E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Ky., on Monday, Nov. 10.
Game time and ticket availability has not been announced and will be available at UPIKEBears.com and on Twitter @UPIKEAthletics as soon as the info is released.
UPIKE’s exhibition schedule now consists of trips to Kentucky on Nov. 2, Tennessee on Nov. 3 and Western Kentucky on Nov. 10.
The Hilltoppers are coming off a 20-12 season in which they lost in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament 73-72 to Louisiana-Lafayette. WKU is coached by Ray Harper who will be entering his fourth season in Bowling Green. Prior to taking over at WKU, Harper spent time at Oklahoma City in the NAIA and Kentucky Wesleyan.
Harper’s teams captured national titles at both Kentucky Wesleyan and Oklahoma City.
